I always thought of journaling as tedious and unnecessary, because who am I to forget, right?? But for the sake of improving my handwriting, I continued, and now as I reread my entries, I still feel the emotions of the day as I had written it. That is the power of journaling. It not only brings the day back but the emotions as well :)

I started in exactly the same way and it certainly does bring back the emotions also. It took me some time to find a specific journaling practice I enjoyed but the fact that journaling can be a unique experience of prompts and practices for us all I think means there’s some form of journalling out there for all of us. For how much it’s helped me I sure hope that’s true! Thanks for your comment!
